Connect to Care at Westchester Jewish Community Services is a multi-faceted approach to helping those in the Westchester Jewish community that are affected by the economic crisis.  The staff at Connect to Care will help you maximize your chances for success in your career search.  At the Center there are workstations with computer/internet access, copier and fax machine, and a lounge available for informal networking.

Professionals from WJCS, FEGS and NYLAG will be on site to provide legal assistance, financial, emotional and spiritual counseling as well as individual career counseling sessions to clients, all free of charge.

Connect to Care will also provide individualized beginners training on LinkedIn.  Clients will be able to make an appointment to sit in front of a computer alongside an experienced LinkedIn user, with their resume in hand. At the conclusion of this one hour session, the client will have a complete profile as well as invitations sent out to connect to other users.  These sessions must be reserved and at times there could be a waiting list.  Please email requests toConnecttoCare@wjcs.com.  (If you are a pro at LinkedIn and would like to volunteer, please email us as well.)

Workshops will be offered on pertinent topics, as well as networking sessions and discussion groups.  Please RSVP to ConnecttoCare@wjcs.com  for all workshops as there is limited seating (walk-ins will be accommodated if there is space available).

Presenter: Rosemarie Schulman, Rosie is a registered nurse with over 35 years of experience in woman's health.  She has written numerous articles published a weight management book, featured on Good Morning America on hypnosis, hosted a cable radio and TV program and lectured to numerous groups on the power of self hypnosis. She is invited to lecture annually at the National Guild of Hypnotists.  She currently teaches and has a private practice in Pleasantville NY and Vero Beach Florida.
