 MISSION STATEMENT

“These are the obligations without measure, whose rewards too, are without measure:

          To perform acts of loving kindness

          To welcome the stranger

          To visit the sick

          To rejoice with bride and groom

          To console the bereaved

          To make peace where there is strife”

Inspired by the above prayer, the Chesed Caring Community Committee of Woodlands Community Temple is committed to carry out the prayer's message.

Its mission is to establish a climate of community within our Temple, so that members are truly a congregational family— sharing joys and simchas and, in times of difficulty, ready to provide support and consolation to those who need it.

Most importantly, our goal is to lead and inspire the entire congregation to become a caring community.
