CLEANING OUT THE BASEMENT OR GARAGE? We are always looking for CLEAN, GENTLY USED housewares, small appliances, linens, bedding and kitchen items for families moving out of the Hope's Door shelter. Email domesticabuse@wct.org to coordinate - PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ITEMS IN THE LOBBY UNLESS ASKED TO BY DATF. Have furniture to donate? Try the Junior League's Furniture Sharehouse (www.furnituresharehouse.org). They provide furniture to needy Westchester residents

COMMITTEE MATTERS
Are you willing to serve on the Social Action Committee? Please let us know.
What is involved? We meet once each month. While most of our members attend most meetings, several are not able to attend any, but make up for it by being responsible (or sharing responsibility) for a significant social action project and by keeping involved in committee matters through email discussions.
How? You can discuss ideas for your involvement with our chairperson, Dayle Fligel, 693-0520 or any of our committee members – or just come to a meeting.
Regular Meetings : Our meetings are held once a month usually on Mondays at 8:10 pm:
News: If you would like to receive periodic Social Action alerts and a monthly Social Action email update, let us know by sending a message to WCTSocialAction@WCT.org. This is also the address to use if you have any ideas for Social Action projects or any questions or comments about existing projects.
Annual Report : Read this summary of Social Action at WCT this past year - and then let us know how you want to be involved during the coming year.
